Music Directorate The Music Directorate is the arm of the Church/Diocese responsible for coordinating, developing, and sustaining all musical expressions used in worship, praise, and other official programs. It exists to use music as a powerful tool for glorifying God, deepening spiritual life, and enhancing meaningful worship. The Directorate oversees Choirs, instrumentalists, worship teams, and other music units, ensuring that music ministry aligns with biblical truth, doctrinal soundness, and the overall vision of the church. Beyond performance, the Music Directorate is a ministry of service, discipline, and spiritual formation, recognizing music as both a gift from God and a means through which hearts are prepared for His presence. Goals of the Music Directorate 1. To glorify God through music by offering worship that is reverent, spirit-filled, and God-honoring. 2. To enhance worship experiences by providing music that inspires praise, reflection, and obedience to God. 3. To nurture spiritual growth among members of the music ministry through prayer, teaching, and fellowship. 4. To preserve and promote quality church music, both traditional and contemporary, in line with Christian values. 5. To raise disciplined and skilled musicians who serve with excellence, humility, and commitment. Objectives of the Music Directorate 1. To organize and coordinate all musical activities of the church or ministry. 2. To train and develop choristers, instrumentalists, and worship leaders musically and spiritually. 3. To ensure doctrinally sound and theologically meaningful lyrics in all songs used for worship. 4. To promote unity and teamwork among all music units and departments. 5. To encourage regular rehearsals, workshops, and seminars for skill improvement. 6. To support church programs, services, and special events through effective musical ministration. 7. To mentor young and upcoming talents in music, helping them discover and develop their God-given gifts. 8. To uphold discipline, order, and ethical conduct within the music ministry
