The Correctional Center, Hospital and Social Welfare Directorate.
The Correctional Center, Hospital and Social Welfare Directorate of the Ilesa South West Diocese, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) is a faith-driven ministry committed to expressing the love of Christ through compassionate service to humanity.
The Diocese is deeply passionate about the spiritual, emotional, and material well-being of persons in correctional centers, hospitals, and vulnerable communities.
We believe that the love of God must not be confined within church walls but should be shared generously, reaching those who are often neglected, marginalized, or in distress.
In response to this divine mandate, the Directorate was established to serve as the Church’s outreach arm to these institutions and communities. Through regular visits, prayers, counseling, humanitarian support, and social interventions, the Directorate seeks to bring hope, healing, restoration, and dignity to individuals and families in need.
Guided by the teachings of Christ and the mission of the Church, the Directorate remains committed to caring for both the spiritual and material needs of those we serve, affirming that every person is valuable and deserving of love, compassion, and care.
