*Women’s & Girls’ Organisations*
*Diocese of Ilesa South-West (Anglican Communion)*
The Women’s and Girls’ Organisations of the Diocese of Ilesa South-West are vibrant ministries committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fellowship, empowerment, and service among women and girls in our Diocese. Under the dynamic and godly leadership of Mrs. Adefolakemi Ojofeitimi, President, these organisations seek to uphold Christian virtues, strengthen families, and raise future generations of faithful women who will impact the Church and society.
*Our Vision*
To see women and girls in the Diocese of Ilesa South-West grounded in the Word of God, consecrated in prayer, actively engaged in discipleship, and equipped to lead purposeful lives for the glory of God.
*Our Mission*
We exist to:
✔ Inspire women and girls to know Christ deeply through Scripture and prayer
✔ Foster wholesome relationships and discipleship across generations
✔ Provide platforms for worship, service, and spiritual growth
✔ Engage in community outreach, support, and upliftment programmes
✔ Equip members with moral, spiritual, and life skills for Christian living
Organisational Structure
To fulfill our mission, we operate through key guild arms, each with special focus areas:
*Women’s Organisation*
The Women’s Organisation is the heart of women’s fellowship in the Diocese—bringing together married, single, and widowed women to grow in faith, unity, and service. Through:
Weekly fellowship meetings
Bible studies and prayer gatherings
Social support to the sick, widows, and vulnerable
Skills training and empowerment workshops
the Guild builds confident, Christ-centered women ready to serve God and community.
*Girls’ Organisation*
The Girls’ Organisation nurtures young girls and teenagers in Christ-like character and purposeful living. It offers:
Mentorship and discipleship programmes
Bible learning and devotional life training
Etiquette, leadership, and life-skills sessions
Creative and recreational activities that build wholesome friendships
The aim is to disciple girls from childhood into confident and faithful young women rooted in Christian values.
*Our Activities*
Throughout the year, the Women’s and Girls’ Organisations engage in a variety of intentional programmes, including:
